Amanda was in our house from her birth and forward. They started playing in the playpen and were just too cute. She and Heather were best friends. She was another daughter to John and me and another big sister to Ryan as Heather was to Matt. She gave us blessings every time we were in her presence. Our hearts are breaking at this loss but we are praising at the angel she was in our family. She was truly a beacon of God’s shining love on earth . She was a wonderful mother to her kids and Kenny’s boys. And she was just right for Kenny as a wife as he was as her husband. They were a beautiful family unit. She will be missed forever but I can just hear her sweet voice blending with the angels in heaven’s choir today. God took His precious daughter home to hurt no more. We love her family and hold them in our prayers and hearts all the time. I bet she and John are having a grand visit right now as I know he was near the gate to welcome her home. God bless you all.

Amanda was a beautiful Christian woman inside and out. If you ever had the chance to meet her you were truly blessed. I’ve never met someone that was such an inspiration to me and you could just see the love of God on her face with that big smile she always had. She gave God all the praise and glory throughout her battle of cancer. She was a walking testimony that could play the piano and sing out of this world. She was an awesome nurse that loved each and everyone of her patients. Years ago when I was so sick I would literally request to be in one of her rooms. I knew I would get the best of care and we would talk about God. I’m truly blessed and thank God for the friendship I had with her and Kenny. We are praying for all the family in the days ahead!
