Significance: The Amanda Edmonds Locke Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of its namesake. Known as a compassionate nurse, talented musician and vocalist, and foremost a devoted Christian, Amanda’s unwavering faith and resilience during her four-and-a-half-year battle with cancer continues to inspire us all.

Our mission is to carry forward Amanda's legacy of compassion and care by providing scholarships in the areas of her passions. We will be awarding four one-thousand-dollar scholarships to students pursuing post-secondary education in healthcare or music, areas where Amanda’s influence was profound.

Applicants must be graduating from or permanently residing in one of the following counties: Ballard, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Crittenden, Graves, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken, Trigg, Union, or Webster in Kentucky, or Hardin or Pope in Illinois.

Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, religion, gender, national origin, or disability. Previous scholarship recipients are welcome to reapply; however, prior awards do not influence future funding decisions.
